7 Little Words 2.0 for iOS is now available and includes the following:

  • Solved words will once again be in boldface print so they’ll be easier to see.

With that said, we do realize that we didn’t get everything perfect the first time around, and we want you to know that we’ve been listening to the great feedback you’ve been giving us.

7 Little Words 2.1 is already on the way and will be available to you as soon as Apple approves it. What will you see in 7 Little Words 2.1?

  • Solved words will once again be in boldface print so they’ll be easier to see.
  • We’ve fixed the problem with the letter tiles not being responsive to taps.
  • We’ve fixed the problem with solved puzzle packs appearing in the Unsolved section of the My Puzzles screen.

Our Next App Update Is a Big One

We’ve got some exciting news for all 7 Little Words enthusiasts: our next free app update, coming to iOS in October, is going to be a big one! We’d like to tell you a little bit about it.

The core puzzle-playing experience will be virtually unchanged, but outside of that we have a lot to wow you with. Here are some of the great new features:

New! “My Puzzles” Page

We wanted to make it easier for you to find the puzzles that you’re currently working on, so we’ve made a new home page in the app called “My Puzzles.” At the top of the page you’ll find all the puzzle packs that you’ve purchased but have not yet completed. After you’ve completed all the puzzles in a pack, the puzzle pack will move to the bottom of the “My Puzzles” page. This improved layout will reduce or eliminate a lot of unnecessary scrolling.

New! Puzzle Store

We’ve added a new, well-organized Puzzle Store section to the app. You’ll be able to easily find puzzle packs based on such criteria as difficulty level and price.

New! Premium Puzzle Packs

Our new Premium puzzle packs are special collections of puzzles curated by difficulty level. Our five difficulty levels are Very Easy, Easy, Moderate, Hard, and Impossible. Unlike our Classic and Value puzzle packs, which contain a random mixture of puzzles, when you buy a premium puzzle pack you’ll know exactly what difficulty level you’re getting. We’re also introducing curated collections of “theme-only” puzzles in the same vein as our Sunday daily puzzles.

New! Sidebar Menu

Navigating our app will be much easier with our new slide-out sidebar menu. Quickly jump to any section of 7 Little Words with a simple swipe and tap.

New! UK English Spellings

Previously limited to our Daily Puzzles, now ALL puzzles will be available with alternate UK English spellings. This feature will be accessible via the Settings page.

New! More Puzzle Packs

Our next update will include 10 all-new Premium puzzle packs. That’s 500 new puzzles!

And Much More!

These are just the highlights of our next app update. There’s even more we could tell you about, but we’ll leave some things for you to discover on your own. We’re really excited about this new update, and we’re sure you’re going to love it. Thanks for being a loyal supporter of 7 Little Words.

7 Palabritas to End – Spanish Puzzles Will Now Be Found in 7 Little Words

We have made the difficult decision to end 7 Palabritas on all platforms, but we will continue to provide Spanish puzzles (including a free trial pack of Spanish puzzles) in our English language version, 7 Little Words. Since 7 Little Words is available for most devices and has been downloaded more than 7.5 million times, we are hoping this will give the Spanish puzzles a much broader audience.

We look forward to continuing our relationship with our Spanish language audience with new puzzles in the 7 Little Words version 2.0 app!
